I had an email a couple of days ago saying that Word Herding has been longlisted in the Books & Literature category for the Littlewoods Ireland Blog Awards 2016. It’s a wonderful surprise to get through, especially as this blog is only a baby of less than a year and I’m still very much finding my blogging feet (though I rarely blog with my feet because the typos are appalling).
I’m up against very stiff competition, with several fantastic blogs that are on my regular reading list, but how thrilling to even be on the same list as them!
You can find the full list of categories and longlistees here. Maybe you’re on there too?
Anne! Thats wonderful. And thanks for Blakes 7. We used to watch it on a very poor reception on our old Bush TV. The signal from Mulagonish (spelling?) was dippy at the best of times so we very often missed crucial parts of the story.

Thanks, Brenda. I’m really pleased.
It’s funny how TV brings you back, isn’t it? I used to sit on the floor as close as I could get to the screen. Happy days.

Well done you. Not at all surprised though as it is such a witty and informative blog. Thanks for the tip though about not typing with your feet. It’s obviously where I’ve been going wrong all these years.

I had to learn that the hard way, Mary Rose 🙂 Thanks for the kind words. It means a lot to have so much support for my little ramblings.
