Between builders, decorating, visitors and back-to-school gubbins, I’ve been hard pressed to do any blogging over the past couple of weeks. But now that the builders have packed up their tools, the paint is dry, the B&B has closed its doors for the season and the child is ready (if unwilling) to be educated, I’m hoping to get back on track.
I particularly want to get around to reviewing my current #SomeBooksofSummer read, The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman. Finding time for that has been tough as well, and I’ve had to dip in whenever there was a spare moment as opposed to diving in as I’d like to. You know you’re enjoying a book when you simultaneously have to keep reading to the end, yet are trying to spare it in order to savour it. But I’m nearly there now – I’m this close to the end:
Wow, you had a lot of stuff piled on all at the same time! Good luck with your book, though!
